About our founder

Mary, a senior at high school, was inspired to create CARE after attending many local art activities at libraries in her youth. In high school, she further explored these fields by taking classes like Studio Art and AP Computer Science A. She has experience with many artistic mediums and knowledge of different coding languages, such as Java, Python, and HTML.

By organizing art and coding events at multiple libraries, Mary strives to inspire youth to pursue their interests and cultivate their skills. She hopes to reach many students across the community and provide accessible resources to all. During her lessons, Mary always focuses her attention on the students and provides a safe and educational environment for students to explore and learn comfortably.​
